On June 28, Curtis 1000’s brand changed to Taylor Print Impressions. It’s helping us create a more integrated, connected partner to fuel your growth — fully harnessing the power of Taylor for the very first time.
Focused subject matter expertise. Creative services. Marketing data and analytics. Advanced technology tools. We’re uniting these capabilities and facilities from coast to coast, reducing complexity to unlock your brand’s potential.
This change doesn’t affect much, but you’ll need to be aware of the following:
Our parent company, Taylor, has been part of Curtis 1000’s brand DNA for some time. By formally uniting with Taylor as Taylor Print Impressions, we gain access to 78 production facilities, millions of square feet of warehouse space and more than 10,000 employees — all of whom are dedicated to building a bold and vibrant brand for you.
Q: What is happening?
A: Curtis 1000 is uniting under one vibrant, unified Taylor brand. Since the end of June, we’ve been changing our brand to Taylor Print Impressions. In addition to a brand change, we also have a legal entity name change to Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, Inc.
Q: Why is it happening?
A: Curtis 1000 has been a subsidiary of Taylor Corporation for years. Sharing one brand unites the strength of our teams, capabilities and facilities across the country so we can meet your changing needs faster with greater results.
Q: When will this change occur?
A: The brand change began on June 28, 2021. However, throughout the remainder of 2021 you may still see the Curtis 1000 brand as we phase it out on customer portals, our website and location signage.
Q: What changes do I need to make?
A: Good news! This change doesn’t affect much, but you’ll need to be aware of the following:
Q: How will this improve my experience?
A: This change will allow you to experience a more integrated, connected partner to power your brand and fuel your growth. Here’s how:
Big: One brand, united to help you scale. Taylor Print Impressions connects the capabilities of teams and facilities across the country. In a world that keeps changing, we're committed to partnering with you to find new ways to grow. That's why we're building a nationwide platform, designed to deliver even greater stability and strength.
Agile: Regional facilities ready to act near you. A hallmark of Taylor has always been entrepreneurship. Taylor Print Impressions integrates the unique strengths of each facility and deep knowledge of regional trends. With new ways of working and thinking, we can meet your needs faster — to create impressions that take your business further.
Going Beyond: Strategically aligned services to make you unstoppable. We heard you. You want more from us. Taylor Print Impressions is designed to deliver focused subject matter expertise, creative services, marketing data and analytics, and technology tools engineered to facilitate end-to-end marketing solutions. The secret power to our services is that they're integrated with our production platform. We aim to reduce complexity and expand your potential.
Q: Will my client support team or contact change?
A: No. In fact, this brand change gives us deeper roots into additional Taylor teams to support you as a unified service model.
Q: Why am I not receiving emails from Taylor?
A: Please add taylor.com to your safe sender list to ensure you receive our emails. To do so in Outlook, click on the “Junk” icon* in the upper left corner of your screen and select “Never Block Sender’s Domain”.
Q: Will we need a new W-9?
A: Yes. We are issuing new W-9s with our new legal name: Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, Inc. If you have any questions about your W-9, please reach out to your client manager.
Q: Will your Employer Identification Number (EIN) change?
A: Good news! There’s no EIN change. However, you will need to make a vendor name change on purchase orders and payments.
Q: Will it impact our current contracts?
A: Because this is just a name change, there is no need to change the contract(s) we have with you. We can update the contract with the new name at the regularly scheduled renewal time.
Q: Do we need new sales tax exemption certificates?
A: No, we can continue to use the one you may have provided us.
